  • 1.  Flow UDF from PO Receipt of invoice line comment to JC_JobTransactionDetail

    I have a customer on 2018 who wants to flow a PO Receipt of Invoice line comment through to the JC Job Transaction Detail report.

    Here's where I mapped the UDF fields but it doesn't seem to be flowing and I'm not sure if I missed a link somewhere of if this data flow isn't possible.

    PO_ReceiptDetail.CommentText ( 2048 ) ->AP_Invoice_Detail_Posting.Comment_PO->JC_JobDailyTransactions.Comment_PO- >JC_JobTransactionDetail.Comment_PO -> JC_JobTransactionDetailReportWork ( FINAL )

    I think you can go from the PO Receipt Detail directly to the JC_JobDailyTrans.
    When you define your UDF in JC_JobDailyTrans, your BusObj would be Po_ReceiptRegUpdate, and your Data Source would be PO_ReceiptDetail.

    I tried that and I don't think the field was transferring.

    At this point, I'm recommending the DSD enhancement which is reasonable ( $1,500 ) and offers several options for the comment.
