Finishing off a migration (4.3 to 4.4). Now the issue is with user maintenance security. When other admin users try to look at an exisiting user to modify the settings, the company fields are blank. When they click on the drop down, no companies appear. When I log into look, I can see them. I log onto a users workstation. I log in, no problem. Any other user logs in while I am watching, they cannot see the company list. I give them the exact roles that I have, they cannot see. I uninstalled/reinstalled workstation. No improvement. Any thoughts?

Dawn told me the answer to this when I had it ages ago. I've had to do it several times, but not always, which is weird.

Just after loggin off the client server did I see this. Will try tomorrow. Brett, how the heck do you find these? I searched the KB for 20 minutes before throwing in the towel. Will let you know tomorrow on results. Thanks

On those workstations, open up user maintenance, R. Click outside the grid, Panel Settings, reset panel, reset all grids. I've run into this several times.

I just had a client where the AP Invoice Grid was grayed out completely. I could log in and it would work just fine. When I did as Barbara suggested it fixed itself. You might also find that if the above is the issue (corrupted panel) that the user can work fine on another workstation because I think customizations are tied to user AND workstation ID.

I have had several clients where user maintenance was like this. It's weird but then goes away once you reset the grids.
