Sage 100 Advanced 2021 PU2. A customer is running into a situation where the standard income statement is printing in landscape rather than portrait. This only happens in one of their companies and only for one user. The others users work just fine.

I've checked the Crystal reports and they are all set to portrait.

Deleted and reinstalled the printer driver (HP 4250).

The support folks at Summit Hosting have reset this user's profile to rule out any problems on that side.

I'm probably missing something super simple!

have you clicked on the printer icon in report selection and verified the report set up is set to portrait?  Sage saves these settings in one of the report tables

@Jeff Schwenk Are you referring to GL_FinancialReport and GL_FinancialReport Group?

If so, I'm not seeing any orientation settings in those files. Or settings based on user.

I believe this is what Jeff is referencing:

@Kevin Moyes Yes, that's where the user is having to manually change the printer settings from landscape to portrait. Is that setting stored in a Sage file?

Yes, but I'm not sure where.  Check SY_ReportSetting.

I can't remember if the Condensed setting here impacts orientation:

@Kevin Moyes It looks like changing the settings for page orientation in SY_ReportSetting may do the trick. The settings are tied on Printer Name and Workstation ID. I'm waiting to hear back from the customer to make sure it works.

Hopefully, that does do the trick.  Those printing tables tend to get cluttered over time and need to have the carbon blown out.  Does anyone know of a good way other than one line at at time or taking the nuclear option?  Maybe copy the tables from a clean install and let the users rebuild them over time.  Then rinse repeat in a couple of years.

Thanks @Kevin Moyes! Changing the print orientation for that user's workstation/printer to portrait fixed it.

@Jeff Schwenk It would definitely be nice if there were an easy way to clean up these system tables. This particular one had printer settings back from 2015.
