It would appear that it's the solution for distribution and manufacturing migrations from 100 to a "future-built solution."  Brian and Anne were talking about it on the Education meeting a few weeks back. It sounds like SDMO is a no-go as well.

It'll be curious to see how the conversation flows at MOTM. Darin Steward is slated to be there from the above agenda. X3 will have an interesting mindshare of the conversation as well compared to being a minor mention by Andy Reid a couple of years ago.

My goal here is to not spread rumors or to release information that might be considered confidential, however, this is a bombshell if Sage drops it at this meeting with no official announcement to the channel.  I have information from a reliable source who heard it directly from Sage that SDMO is dead.  X3 is now the play, and Sage will bring X3 down to the mid-market to try to capture Sage 100 migrations to the cloud.

As far as I am concerned, Sage just extended the shelf-life of Sage 100 another 10 years.  Yay for us!
