Since you said ANY...Well, Sage always covers their butt by saying to install every version but it's not always necessary.
I think if you backup your file and uninstall the old version, you can usually install the new and open and convert your file without issue. This keeps the installer from saying you need to be on version Y to get to version Z.
I think in the old days the conversion would see a depreciation method that's not around anymore and freak out, so it had to be eased forward. I think it's smarter than that now.
Did you notice there's a fix out for it already? To be installed on the client side.
And there are warnings about the Crystal Reports service pack it needs.
