FAS Link Guide in Power Point format. I just came across this. It is a good document of FAS issues and installation. Some of it might be out date but most is still relevant. #FASLINK #FAS

While I appreciate everything you contribute Jim, I don't know why, but I always doubt FAS stuff. This if from what, 2009/10? Is any of this still relevant?? Again, nothing against you!!!

Actually the FASLINK hasn't changed in 5 years. You might be surprised but all of it is mostly relevant. With the FAS database being locked down now someone may get some help from it. I did!!! If you know use it you can ignore it!! :)

OMG, that will never happen since nothing has changed with MRP in decades!

Plus they don't write manuals any more.

So here's a revised MRP manual: ""If you happen to have a previous MRP manual, that is good news, since nothing has changed in the past 15 years. If you don't have a previous MRP manual, well, that's too bad, since we no longer provide them! In any event, who really wants to use MRP???

Thanks, Jim, this is still somewhat relevant. Big change, of course, is the 1,500 asset limit no longer applies. It still contains specs on Novell Netware Server, which is no longer even mentioned on the Supported Platform Matrix. There are very detailed manuals for FAS in PDF format on the media. We have a substantial group of FAS users and have moved ahead with certification because of that. It continues to be the best program for any company with more than 800 - 1,000 assets. (Yes, I used the term ""best"" to be historical.)
