  • 1.  Export from Sage 100, Import to Avalara

    Has anyone created a VI export from Sage 100 AR invoice history in the Avalara template file format?  The file is used to upload invoice data to the Avalara portal.

    I have a customer that wont be live on Avalara until the end of January.  They want to begin reporting sales tax through Avalara starting January 1, so we need to upload invoice data.

    I literally was ROTFLMAO when Avalara sent that to me as a workaround for a customer who was pushing back on the price of Avatax, but Avalara still was trying to sell them Certs and Returns!!!

    They charge a lot, and it may well be worth it.  However, for the price, one would think they would supply the m4x VI export job needed to create the file used to upload invoices.
