Exception EAccess violation in module nttdll.dll yada, yada, yada... See exact message below. MAS 90 V4.5 PU. XP workstation. Installed WKsetup as Administrator. Only workstation getting this error. Close the error, MAS continues working without issue. Error is just annoying. Any wild thoughts? Not much on the KB.

Maybe try reinstalling the c++ redistributable 2008 package... http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5582

Why do you suggest that? I didn't see anything on the link. The workstation worked fine running v4.3. It just chokes on v4.5 (installed last week).

I am pretty sure I had the same issue on two workstations with 4.5 (one internally and one at a client site), both were XP machines. The C++ Redist 2008 Package is supposed to install as part of the 4.5 WKSETUP but I found on both those machines it did not (and the setup didn't error out or throw any message that it didn't). Installing the package manually from MS site seemed to resolve the issue. Don't ask me how I figured this out but it sure wasn't from any help on the Sage KB.

Can't comment on Brian's experience though seems viable and worth noting that when I've run into the famed PVXDAX issue -- one cause of which is the lack of the C++ (the other being that the customer is clicking an icon after uninstalling Sage 100) that I found a particular C++ was required. When I Google'd and downloaded a different version it was not the one I needed and didn't work despite seeming as if it should. WAG would also be invalid printer only because it's machine specific and because bad printers tend to do bad things to Sage's 1980's era print engines..
