After a MS update, client gets message when trying to run SI reports that Excel isn't installed.  He uninstalled and reinstalled a 32 bit version, still getting that error.
Any ideas?  And yes, he opened Excel before ever starting the SI reports.

Are the Excel Ad-in and COM Add-in installed and the appropriate boxes checked?

@Doug Higgs - it's not THAT error message, but I honestly didn't even check those because it wasn't saying that Report Designer was missing, it said Excel wasn't installed.  But I should have checked that.  I've emailed client and waiting on response.

Yeah, I had found that, but he HAD opened Excel already, and he isn't getting any errors.
But, the add-ins are not there (even after reinstalling the workstation), so I'm connecting now to look at it.
    Gosh, I love SI issues.

Also check the Excel version and make sure it's in the compatibility list.
