*** EXAM RE-CERTIFICATION NOTES *** Just a heads up for anyone yet to take the Sage 100 re-certification (Due 5/31/14) -- leave yourself some time. (UPDATE 5-7-14: Called SAGE U and you do NOT have to watch the videos in order to have a complete assessment. It is recommended but if you watched on someone else's computer and then took the assessment you won't have to go back and watch under your account). The exam does vary quite a bit from person to person. If someone you know took the exam and had no issues it doesn't mean you get the same exam. There are questions on : Sage 100 ERP 2013 and 2014 Sage CRM Sage Mobile Sales Sage Intelligence Sage Inventory Advisor Sage Billing and Payment While some of the questions are easy and can be answered with little advanced preparation you should watch the videos prior. Some of he questions continue to be trick questions --- example -- a question may ask ""Which of the following is NOT"" vs ""Which of the following IS"". Read the question carefully and do not skim over it because it looks obvious. Questions about items Sage wants you to sell (ie Mobile Sales, Intelligence) are NOT readily searchable through a single document. The answers seem to be primarily in the videos. This year's exam is different from prior years which allowed you to use an exam book/PDF. This year most of the information is on several short videos. For best results you will want to watch each video immediately before taking the certification. Remember this is due 5/31/4 --- leave yourself some time.

How convenient that they charge you money to take time to watch 'ads' to upsell their addon products that you see small margins on typically. Which I could get my customers to do that.

I just passed the exam. You definitely need to watch and listen to all of the training videos. I find these videos very inefficient for learning. It is difficult to skip over the areas you already know.

Wonder if there is a way to convert the audio into a script (a la stenographer)??? Would be able to study and word search...

@JeffSchwenk have your secretary take dictation. Please post a copy to Evernote.

I don't have them. I guess someone would have to take screen shots during the exam.

And the guy (I can't think of his name)doing the video is just reading a script of a powerpoint - he goes so slow and adds very little insight.

And then there's the guy in the ""tech"" part who keeps calling Windows 2008R2 ""Release Candidate 2""..this may have been on the 300 training...

It also appears as if watching every video is also a requirement.

Also Print the results at the end to PDF - Sage currently shows me completing everything but not the assessments...

UPDATE: Called Sage U -- watching every video is NOT a requirement for completing the assessment.

You used to be able to print a certificate of completion after you completed the exam and the evaluation. Either that's no longer an option, or I don't know where to find it.

FYI - Even I passed the exam! Word to the wise (a little too late), if you go back to the videos while taking the exam (even in another tab), it can kick you out of the exam. I failed before I got half way through by trying to use the videos for reference on a question I knew little about.

After studying for three day watching videos and losing sleep over it all, I took the test Friday morning and eked out a win... But in doing so, got so psyched over v2014 that I am installing it this weekend at the office and am going full stream ahead with it...... I am Inspired!!!!!!

Too bad my launcher looks like crap.... Can't win them all..
