    I checked through the Bylaws. The Exec Dir is listed as ex-officio. The President may appoint a Parliamentarian, who is effectively, but not explicitly  ex-officio.

    There is no other mention of this. It is not specifically allowed or barred. So I rule that we can create ex-officio BOD members.
