Everyone please read this. http://community.90minds.com/2011/09/12/support-collaborative-web-session-92111/ As we've discussed we will be opening up the group to outside collaborators only in our tech support area. We will not be admitting people as full members -- and we will also not be individually voting on those who come into our support collaborative. What this means is you could have competitors joining the support collaborative. We'll charge a fee - starting a $250 - for the new folks. At this time we are not charging the fee to 90 Minds members. We will probably create another round of dues similar to what we did a few years back when we charged everyone. For now the fees you see apply to the new support collaborative folks. Why are we doing this? - To cherry pick the best and brightest from the support area to be full members (we would vote on full members) - Beef up our support capabilities in light of Sage doing away with unlimited support. More brains = more activity and benefit to members. That's the theory anyhow. We will be signing up with Socialcast for the paid version of their online service. This will allow us to create separate technical areas for external contributors to join us so that those people will not be privy to any of our 90 Minds discussions. You should expect that our technical discussions will include outside contributors -- who we are charging a fee which we expect will pay for our Socialcast fees.
