    Ever since I installed Patch D for SageCRM 7.1 I have not been able to get the Outlook Sync to work and it is forcing all our SageCRM url's to use https...any idea what would have caused this or how to fix the https issue?

    I have a customer on 7.1 SP1 and their dashboard was working okay; then installed Patch D and suddenly the dashboard wasn't working and we couldn't import. Said tomcat wasn't running even though it was. I had to revert back to SP1 and then everything was working good again.

    Thanks Dawn. How did you revert back? Is there an uninstall or did you just have to restore your backup of database, etc?

    I did a complete reinstall. The client was using CRM only for testing anyway so none of the information needed to be saved. We did go live on it after I got everything working again and used the Relationship Wizard to load in their MAS 200 customers.

    Ah...I see...They already have cases logged in the system as well as customer notes, etc in the system so I think the reinstall is out of the question.

    Just wondering if anyone had any insight on this? I may just have to bite it and call Sage for support...(shudder).

    @BrianBuck - recommend you call @PeterWolf, he'll probably be more helpful than Sage.

    Are you saying that if you use HTTPS it works okay but you can't use HTTP?

    What do you have for the port setup in the registry -- under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\eWare\Config\/CRM for the HTTP port?

    Yours might not be in the ""Wow6432Node"" if you are not on a 64-bit system.

    Thanks Dawn. I am on a 64-Bit OS (Win 2008 Server) but I can't seem to find that exact \WOW6432Node\eWare\ConfigVCRM registry entry

    Start under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then Software.

    And yes, https does work okay but we get the silly certificate error warning and I can't seem to disable it. I suspect the https forcing is affecting our Outlook CRM Sync as that isn't working either, even if I check the use https in the Outlook Sync options.

    sorry...I meant to put the entire key under my reply...I did start under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ ....attached is what I see.

    Yes, you go to Config, then to the \CRMxxx that you have under there. Sorry the above text looks like a ""v"" when really it's the forward slash then the backslash next to each other.

    I have Port 80 in the HTTPPort key

    Yes that is correct. In 7.1 that there is a bug in the https with the outlook plugin. So I thought perhaps your port was set to 443 not 80.

    Spoke with Sage and apparently I am going to have to create an SSL certificate on the server to get it to work. Sent it over to the IT department to handle that. It was confirmed that it is also affecting the Outlook CRM Sync.
