Thank you for the exmaples and time it takes to gather all the info. The NPR didn't look like it fit our needs, but their may be some ideas from it. The PMI was more like our T&Cs (you can access it from Higher Logic by your profile pic). Ireally liked the MRC. MRC Rule # 7 is very specfic,
@Robert Wood I recommend you be a reviewer on that one, it seems pretty clear you can 'say' it but don't print it. Also, rule #6, is a good add to any CofC we have. Thanks,
@Karen O'Lane.

I've reviewed several website's code of conduct statements and I see that many follow the same format. That being said, PMI does a nice job of zeroing in on definitions in their code of ethics. We're looking for something as it pertains to an event, but the guidelines for being a member of an organization and/or serving as a volunteer are roughly the same. I've attached a few examples. I think that we can glean something simple from various of these documents. I'll give it further thought and take a first pass at creating our code.

That's a loaded question and that's why there is a board of directors to guide us. :)

Thank you @Karen O'Lane, that's the one I was looking for and the one that started the idea for our own Code of Conduct (CofC) for MOTM. It's important that all the board members weigh-in on this topic, as some may feel strongly about a particular language exclusion or inclusion. The Acumatica CofC is strongly worded and broad, but perhaps a CofC requires strong, broad statements to be effective. It is possible this is Acumatica's response to a prior incident(s) at another event or empowers those in charge to directly deal with participants that may get out of hand. Hard to know, and they likely wouldn't talk about it anyway.
I'd like to see any examples of CofC that the board may know of or find. Thank you in advance.
We can email the CofC to registrants of MOTM after we start ticket sales, but timely attention to the CofC by the board is appreciated.

Moira, yes, I can do that. I'm attaching Acumatica's, which I captured because I thought it was good for reference. I will post others once I find them. Then we can discuss what works best for us.

Seems like a reasonable CYA thing to do. It should be as minimal as possible.
This would also continue our subthread of encouraging behavior appropriate for enhancing engagement and collaboration.
