    Sage 100

    We're aware that customers that have Sage 100 2022.0 installed are experiencing problems installing the Sage 100 End of Year (IRD) for Tax Year 2022. While we continue with our investigations, you can use the following workaround:

    Please see the Sage Knowledgebase article This Sage 100 2022.0 - 2022.2 End of Year (IRD) for Tax Year 2022 must be installed on the final, released version of Sage 100 2022. Exit this installation before installing this Sage 2022.0 - 2022.2 End of Year (IRD) for Tax Year 2022


    Update: It's still not clear whether Sage changed anything, as a further reading of the Sage KB reveals Sage's workaround that you should install at least 2022 PU1. 

    The 2022 IRD will not work without any product updates applied.

    It's unclear whether the original IRD has been updated ( for version 2022). If you are doing a v2022 IRD install, it's probably best to separately download the latest version 2022-specific IRD for the year 2022 from here.

    I downloaded what appeared to be the patch/updated IRD for version 2022.0. I tried to apply this to a fresh (being installed) v2022.2 Premium. 

    I received



    Since I already had PU 2 on this 2022 system I downloaded the "regular" IRD 2022, which then unzipped the various IRDs into c:\Sage Temp and I installed the IRD for Sage 100 2022 without issue.

    The link on the KB article was not correct; when I downloaded it, I got the same error that Wayne noted. So, I called Sage Support today and they confirmed the file in that link was not working. They have since fixed the link.

    The new .EXE file that works with version 2022.0 can be downloaded here:  View Document - Sage Knowledgebase 

    I downloaded and tested, and it installs on PU 0 and also on PU2. I'm not sure if they have updated this to be included in the zip file for all versions of Sage.

    I downloaded the full IRD 2022 ( not the broken one Sage issued for 2022.0 ) and was able to update a 2022.2 version with the IRD. I don't think there was an issue updated to 2022.1 or 2022.2. My impression is the fix Sage had was for 2022.0.
