Error 'the system cannot find the file specified' when installing workstation setup; v2015 STD - Win7 workstation - any assistance is appreciated! This started from getting errors when printing the Accounts Payable Invoice Register, when clicking on print or preview received error 200 SY_ReportCommon.pvc line 629. After reviewing message boards I tried to manually register the DLL files and I was not finding the path correctly. I uninstalled the workstation and was reinstalling when I got the attached message. I have tired to run workstation setup from the mapped drive and from the CD Image.

Have you tried running the workstation setup via right-click ""run as Administrator""?

Does it behave similarly if installing on another PC? If so, that may point towards damaged source files.

Hey Amy, Just prior to installing these prerequisites it should have popped up a list of the prerequisites it will need to install. I would do the following: 1. Try to manually install those prereqs from the .\Prerequisites folder of the original installation files (we're assuming here the ones in the WKSetup folder are busted). 2. If that doesn't work, download those prereqs from Microsoft and install them from there. 3. If those don't work I would present the list to their IT person and ask him/her to install them and let you know when they are done. If there is a problem with the PC that won't allow one or more of them to install then the IT person should find that out and correct it.
