  • 1.  Error 71 String Not Found - Program SO_SALESORDER_UI line 1048

    Has anyone ever seen this error? 
    I'm not sure if I've even ever seen error 71 before, and a search of "ERROR 71" on Sage KB returns nothing.
    The client tells me that this happens randomly, so I can't reproduce the error. It is happening on at least two computers and is pretty frequent. The user I talked to today said at least daily.  I asked them to try to get in touch with me sometime while is it happening, but murphy's law says that I'll be on the phone or busy with something the next time it happens. 

    This error happens when they click on  PRINT ORDER button. The information on the order is saved (luckily). They go back in and the order can be printed.

    Client is on Version 2018 PU2
    I looked at the records in SY_ReportManagerFormat (last file opened) but didn't see any thing that stands.

    Hey @David Overholt and @Robert Wood, this just caught my eye.  I've been getting the same error (not the same task, though) on one client when clicking on the ​​"Add to Script" button in the Edit Script window.  

    Really makes scripting tough for those of us who haven't memorized every field name...

    71 is Edit String Invalid. 

    I suspect it is a parameter being sent (or attempted) to the form.

    Does it error on a STANDARD form?
