Error 65 - Rebuild custom office utilities is not working

Customer is on 2018 Premium with 1 enhancement - Extended AR Invoice numbers.  They do also have Altec/DocLink but this was going on prior to that.
They are getting this error in GL Journal Entry, Bank Rec, AR Invoice Data Entry, AP Manual Check - no rhyme, reason for where they are getting it.  They and I have done the Custom Office utilities, rebuilding, updating panels, resizing panels, etc. and still they get this error.  I can try the renaming the links folder but that would keep them from invoicing all day for a day or two to see if it was the problem.  It's not specific to Tserver environment or Local environment - happens on both.  I was going to try and uninstall/install wksetup tonight.  I did try a repair a week or so ago and it didn't help.  There are no user specific custom office settings either.
    Any ideas?  Pictures attached.
    Thanks

Windows application scaling (in Display Settings... something above 100%) can cause Error 65.

For those on Terminal Server, would this also apply?  Individuals can't change the display right for individual experience in Tserver?  So it would be set for all users by the IT person?  Would their local settings affect their TServer experience?

You can try info and debug

    then

    Print N$

this might give you the name of the screen element that is causing the problem....

Nancy - This is a very well known type of Error 65 that I've troubleshot half a dozen times myself. It means at least 1 screen element / control is sitting outside of a boundary.

E.g. Let's say you are in Customizer for A/R Invoice Data Entry and noticed a button near bottom of the DMAIN panel but it is incorrectly sitting in the PMAIN area. This causes the error. You have to move the position of that offending button or field back into the DMAIN area.

In Customizer simply look for buttons and fields that look out of place. But if you don't visually see anything wrong, use the Panel Map button and it tells you the Row / Column of each control for the panel and makes it easy to tell what's outside the boundary you need to fix.

This issue happens when new fields and buttons are added because of new features on Sage upgrades, also sometimes on mod installations b/c of the installer, and sometimes self inflicted b/c you placed a UDF on a screen in the way I described above. It could also be too far to the left or right. I once posted about it here.

    Hi Everyone
I'm still fighting this error and now with 2 clients, both Premium v2018.  I can now reproduce the error on demand!
On the Terminal Servers and guessing on the locals, WKSetup was done via UNC Path.  However, in the data entry windows (GJ Journal Entry, AP Invoice Data Entry, etc), clicking in the area of the SageU button (whether visable or not) throws the Error 65.
When I click on the icon in Customizer it brings up the Button Definition (BT_SageU) and then an error referencing the location from the Server side (D\Sage\Sage100v2018\mas90\cm\blc-cmWRK.tmp not found).  See Attached.
Sage was installed as D:\Sage..... using drive letter (vs UNC) on the App Server, which is what I've always done.  Is this a problem on Premium or with 2018?
This is consistent on both customers.
I tried this on a terminal server for an Advanced Customer and didn't have this issue.
Any ideas on how to fix?
WKSetup has been uninstalled and installed several times on both customers.
Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there.

    Update - Resolved.
Both Customers contacted Sage, one got nowhere, the other had success.  Email from Sage below.  I did the workaround with the SageU.bmp.  Took care of the problem.  A lot of fighting with Custom Office could have been avoided if only they had written this up as a resolution.

I found while checking Engineering notes that an Error #65 could occur because the updated blue bitmap (added to 90wres.dll) and green bitmap (added to SageISGreen.dll) are not copied over during workstation synchronization after product update 4.

The fix was noted as:  "In order to get past Error 65, I removed the autoupdater.6.00.ini file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components folder (to force workstation synchronization) because the AutoUpdate.6.00.mas.Log.txt file showed that 90wres32.dll and pvxwin32.exe files did NOT copy. "

A workaround if error #65 occurs was to copy the SageU.bmp that got installed to the server with 2018PU4 and copy it in the Workstation's ..\mas90\home\lib\_BMP folder.
Only happens with Premium, not advanced.

I just checked a 2019.3 Premium that is about to go live and can't reproduce so hopefully Sage fixed this somehow in subsequent releases. Also worth noting that the c:\sage\... folder ( local workstation ) on this 2019.3 Premium doesn't have a SageU.bmp.

    Hi Wayne
I found it by going to custom office, opening a data entry window (GJ Journal Entry), the SageU icon looked like 3 lines /// and when I clicked on it, I received the message.
I didn't have a .bmp either till I copied it in.  The workstation had 1 less file in the _bmp than the application server did and SageU.bmp was the missing file.
hopefully they fixed it in 2019.

This thread saved me a LOT of time tonight!  Much better detail than the KB.

Are there any missing .bmp files from home\lib\_bmp?  KB attached.
