  • 1.  Error 65 in Vendor Maintenance/Inquiry - v2020 PU1 ADV Migrating from v2018

    Must be the day for Error 65's.  This one is blowing when accessing Vendor Maintenance/Inquiry (any panel when selecting vendor).  Have run the CM utilities (twice).  Opened the panels in CO and resaved.  DSD Multi Currency enhancements installed as well as Doclink panel modifications (not yet updated to v2020 however).  Have resized the screens by pulling on a corner.  If I move the ###-### custom folder, no issues.  So I am at a loss of what to look at in the customized panels.

    Thoughts are appreciated.

    the error 65 seems to be a recurring theme suddenly.  has anyone reached out to Sage support on these error 65's?  or have we just given up on calling them for support?

    Hi all,
      I have a client that routinely gets error 65's. They have DSD and run Sage on a remote desktop server. In their case the fix is to reboot the remote server.  Hope this helps.

    LOL – ya, my client routinely disconnects from RDP sessions that have Sage running.  It eventually either causes error 65's or printing issues.  For years I have been trying to get them to correctly log out but they simply have no interest.  So, I continue to bill them for fixing it..   Not sure if ii is a good thing or a bad thing..

    Look for anything out of place on dMain (UDFs / custom buttons...).  Sage had to resize a number of panels for the bigger address fields, and apparently the update panels applet is not perfect.

    That is a winning Bingo card @Kevin Moyes - UDF overlapped a border.  PITA to troubleshoot as the specific field is not identified but at least the panel is....
