Error 47 PRWUAB 5100 performing tax calculation. Possible Resolution: Open Library Master / Repair / Analyze and Relink Line Files. Click the 'OK' button at the warning message. In the 'Application' drop-down box, select ""Payroll"". Click the 'Lookup' button for the 'Company Code' field, and select the company that encountered the error. Highlight the PR7xxx file (xxx=company code), click the 'Select' button, and click the 'Proceed' button. Click the 'Yes' button at the message, ""Do you want to save original files?"" Click the 'Yes' button at the message, ""## errors fixed in file PR7xxx.soa. Do you want to update changes?"" If errors are fixed, print the error log to have a record of the stripped records. If the records are valid for this payroll, they need to be reentered on the 'Lines' tab in Payroll Data Entry. Note: Verify all reports are correct, including the Data Entry Audit Report, before updating the Check Register

I think there are about a billion Error 47s that can happen in Payroll, and they all seem to get fixed, more or less, by rebuilding the files. Sometimes you do have to delete and re-enter a check, but the rebuilds almost always come through.

You can try the analyze and relink utility as well, one of the last modules that still uses this utility
