Error 43 CI_AuditTracking 270 - occurs when making any change in Item Maintenance. Screenshots in the attached. There are a couple KB articles, the closest one for when error occurs in Customer Maintenance. Client says these quantities have been in there for weeks. Trying to remember largest allowed value in the TotalQtyOnHand field. Looks like a mask problem, but not sure why issue appears now, or what to do about it. Largest qty oh is in one of the screenshots. Lowest QOH is -1422.00. Error occurs, but data is saved. Error does not occur when modifying items where QOH <99,999.

Are you sure there aren't any large negative average costs in the file?

Just checked using CI_Item lookup - none there.

Found this in the Activity Log within 30 sec. of the first Error 43 I see.

Ok, I got it. Can you say product defect? The quantity in each warehouse is within the mask (99,999,999). There are 2 warehouses, so the total exceeds the mask. There should be a better way for Sage to handle it (as with so many other things). I suspect this is the first time the client has made changes to the items since the items were put on hand.
