  • 1.  Error 41 AR_MonthlySalesReport_rpt.pvc 452 - Sage KB resolution does not apply

    v2018.8 Standard with CenturyBiz CC processing & IIG FastSale/CCP.  Client encountered the error when printing the Monthly Sales Report for November.  She closed the period for November without printing the report.  I looked in AR_TransactionPaymentHistory and found that the Payment Reference field for the field referenced in the error message accurately reported the Payment type as "MC" (Mastercard).  When I ran the report for December, the same error occurs, but for a different invoice - same customer and same payment method.

    Anyone seen this and had a different circumstance than the KB article references?

    Hi

    I think if you take a look in AR_transactionpaymentHistory, you may find a payment record with a payment reference field that is less than 3 characters, and I think that is what may trigger this error.

    You may need to write a crystal export to find this.

    @Jeff Fiddelman Yes, that's it.  I ran this by IIG and their Development team determined it to be a Sage AR_MonthlySalesReport_rpt.pvc program error. 

    This error occurs if the JC-Job Cost module is integrated and the AR_TransactionPaymentHistory.M4T table original PaymentReference$ field value len=2 (as for their example it's MC). For any of that 2 len values, that error occurs. 

    Jeff, do you happen to know if Sage released a fix for this program, and if so, in which version(s)?  I don't see any references to this error in the 2018.8 release notes.

    Sage will fix this bug in 2019.5 & 2020.2.
