  • 1.  Error 30 in S/O Lines

    Client is on v2018 Std in hosted environment.  They have reported instances where they will encounter the error when modifying a line in an S/O, typically a stored comment line (e.g. /C01, etc).  They must delete the line, then re-enter it.  It has been reported on multiple workstations/sessions (i.e. multiple users).  Did not find anything useful on Sage KB.  Anyone run into this issue?

    I suspect a runaway script is involved, check MAS90\Scripts for a SO_SalesOrderDetail_bus.vbs file or compile the business event scripts and see if one shows up for SO_SalesOrderDetail.
    If it isn't a script, that perhaps an enhancement, check MAS90\Links for any SO_Common* or SO_SalesOrderDetail class overrides.

    They do have Avatax (have had for years).  They recently added IIG's Credit Card Processing and the brand new integration between IIG's CCP and APS Payments. The first Error 30 occurred several days after they started using integrated CCP/APS, although they had been using CCP (unintegrated) for about a month before going live with APS integration.

    If renaming the Links folder causes the problem to go away then it is time to go after the enhancement developers.
    Sounds like the new integration is not handling a loop properly.
