    2019 Advanced.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and made sure I ran AS ADMIN.  I have a real printer available.  Happens whether Paperless is activated, or not.  Still getting this error on the SERVER when attempting to print or preview.  Any ideas?  

    (Update - changed environmental variable, verified cpre32.dll existed, had rights.  Working my way through Google...)

    2019.2 Advanced.  Have found that I can't manually register CRViewer.dll and CRDesignerCtrl.DLL - don't know if they are the issue, but will ask IT to register them.

    Look at KB 19863.  Also register ATL.dll and activexcontrols and possibly reinstalling Crystal reports.

    That KB is the one I was going by (even though this is a new install and has never had 2018 on it).  Haven't gotten around to reinstalling Crystal yet, but looks like I need to try.

    Did you check for the presence of pvxwin32.exe.config in MAS90\Home on the workstation and server?

    Was there a resolution to this? 
    Taking a call now from a customer who is using remote desktop and just started having this error for all previews

    @Wayne Schulz - 2 years ago - surely you jest?  If it's the one I think it is, I never got a resolution - I just can't print on the server.  They have both Sage 500 and 100 on the server, and I think something is stepping on toes.​

    Thanks. I'm leaning toward this is environmental and likely due to restricted user rights in some way.
    This particular customer is using VDI and other users don't report the issue but this one person does. Part of what's unique with the user is that they have a  special VDI desktop that doesn't constantly reset.
