  • 1.  Error 20 SWQUERY line 0504 - custom office UDF/UDT

    Recently upgraded from v2017.4 to v2022.2 Sage 100 Standard with OM
    UDF/UDT exist in AR, IM, and SO all are failing when you do the lookup. I have created new UDF/UDT after the upgrade and the same error is received.
    I have replaced all SY1 and Providex and reinstalled per KB 20379

    I increased the size of all UDF's with UDT  to force the rebuild
    I ran the sy_activation for all modules
    Nothing has resolve this issue, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

    Did you get a resolution on this? I'm having the same issue and I'm really trying not to reinstall as they have OM and it was not an easy migration/conversion.

    Yes, most of it still have one issue. I started a case with Sage, they had me replace the SWQUERY in MAS90 \ SOA, then run the sy_activation for SO, AR. However, I did notice in AR Invoice History Header all the previous data in the UDFs was blank. I exported that data from v2017 and imported into v2022. I still have one UDT/UDF in item maintenance that is not working, different error than above.

    Turns out this is a defect in the V2022  OpMgmt programs.  I reached out to Scanco and they provide an updated swquery program that resolved the issue.  My case was    81542. 

    Hopefully this helps.

    Hi Jim, I have an install with this error 0504 as well.  I just replaced the SWQUERY with the file that Scanco gave me and it fixed the error however now when we want to do a custom lookup in SO entry we do not get any SY tables to choose from. Did you every run across that issue after replacing SWQuery? Thank you.

    Sage suggested I replace the SY_ExportLink file in MAS_System and that fixed the SY tables missing from a SO custom lookup.
