  • 1.  Error 12 in WO Trans Register update

    Error 12 in WO Trans Reg Update WOWUBB line 0552
    The file that lists is the WOR batch file, but it DOES exist
    Have rebuilt all WO transaction files and WO sort files
     Reinitialized WO transaction files and put one entry back in, same error with new batch number WOR09230.SOA

    Not on the KB that I can find...

    Did you check the dates sometimes it's a bad date that you can see in DFDM

    ... Don't know what version W/O you are running, but pre-2019 versions seem to be starting an
    object that opens a lot (12+) of files to update inventory.
    Also includes opening GL_FiscalYear
    IM_DataEntryCostCalcCommit
    IM_LotSerialTransactionHistory
    IM_ItemTansactionRecalc
    IM_PeriodPostHistory

    Any debug info on "last file accessed"?

    Can you get to the "info" screen of the error and print the results?
    Any chance this is a case of AV interfering?
    NTFS permissions?
    Is the file locked by another process?
    Have you tried restarting the sage 100 server, if possible?

    LUCKILY, the client had an error in another module that gave us a proper error message, so we could see that the missing file was IM_TransactionPosting - which was not mentioned anywhere in the WO error (I even did a DUMP and didn't see it anywhere).
