Error 117 SY_Session.pvc Statement 5398 occurs after user enters logon name and password to MAS 90. I have tried renaming the SY_Workstation file and that does not work. Ideas? This particular error message is not logged on Sage's site.

Yes, all of them.

The statement number is different in the Sage link you gave me. I know it is close, but I actually think it has to do with the System Activity Log files ... they are up to .004. I'm reinstalling software now.

I think the problem had to do with a corrupt SY_ActivityLog file ... they were up to .004 as VI jobs write to this table, which seems like a waste ... why does it write out each record that it imports? I renamed all the SY_ActivityLog files as well as the SY_workstation ile, reinstalled the software and my problem was cured.

We find that if the SY_ActivityLog grows too big, it can cause all sorts of issues. Yours sounded massive!
