    I'm trying to edit Job Cost - Job Transaction Detail Report
    As soon as I click Designer I get 

    Error 11 SY_ReportManager_Bus.PVC 93

    Sage's super helpful support advice is to just reinstall
    LOL
    That works for a 2 person doctor office using GLAPAR but doesn't fly with most larger companies with mods etc.

    Description
    Error 11 SY_ReportManager_Bus.pvc 93 when selecting the Designer button for a form or report in Sage 100

    Example: Record J/C_JobTransactionDetailRpt_Ui is missing from <path to>\MAS90\MAS_System\SY_ReportManagerMaster.m4t when selecting the Designer button



    Resolution
    Reinstall the appropriate Sage 100 version, and appropriate Product Update, and any other enhancmeents/updates needed on the Sage 100 application server
    Replace SY_ReportManagerMaster.m4t file with known working copy
    Rename the existing "..\MAS90\MAS_System\SY_ReportManagerMaster.m4t" file.
    Replace it with the same file from an installation that is not producing the error
    Contact Sage 100 Customer Support if you need a replacement file SY_ReportManagerMaster.m4t file.
    Note: If there are custom reports or forms, then the above options may not be feasible, as a standard SY_ReportManagerMaster.m4t file would NOT have records for customized reports or forms. It may be necessary to use the Data File Display and Maintenance utility to create missing records.


    I suspect this is likely a Job Cost issue but not 100%

    Customer is on 2018.3 Advanced

    I would start by looking at the sy_reportmanagermaster file... Possible corruption.  Look at the records using dfdm for obvious irregularities.  You may try recreating the file on another installation by installing the same custom reports and comparing the records and or copying and using the good file.

    It was missing several JC report records. With the help of @Jim Woodhead I manually added the record and this solved the problem.​

    We have 2 cases open for resolution of this (stopped reporting it after that) which have been open since April! 

    Migration to 2018 wipes out virtually all J/C records from SY_ReportManagerMaster. 

    This has occurred on every customer test migration to 2018.

    The only case where these records didn't get removed was our internal system which was migrated to 2018 at PU3. Seems every PU after that breaks this file when migrated. I haven't yet tried to first migrate at PU3, then add current PU, but it might work. 

    In only a single case has it been feasible to replace the file (they had no custom reports other than J/C.) In any other case, it will be much easier to manually add the J/C records back.
