Sage100 2022.2 Advanced running as a service with latest Payroll. Everything was working fine on the on-prem server. Two weeks ago we moved customer to a new cloud- hosted server, accessing via RDP. Everything is working great except when emailing a large number of Direct Deposit stubs. The Sage100 service crashes and everyone is kicked out of Sage100. When I go to restart the service, it gives an "Error 1067 the process terminated unexpectedly" and the service will not restart. Rebooting is the only way to get it going again. It does not happen when printing all the stubs, nor does it happen when emailing the stubs with smaller batches. There is a Sage KB on this error which says Activate.pvx may be corrupt and to restore it and run $ACTPVX.bat. I did that. I also reinstalled Sage100 on another PC in order to recreate the Activate.pvx. That did not help either. Opened a ticket with Sage, they are "researching". Anyone seen this before or have any ideas what I should try next? Only idea I have is to run Sage100 as an Application the next time they do Payroll and see if that crashes as well.
