Eric Anderson - Sent Eric an e-mail today for SI assistance and this is what I got back. Eric Anderson is no longer with Eide Bailly as of April 1st Anyone know what the situation is?? Did he join another firm, strike out on his own, start his own detective agency?

He left 3/31 to head up another company.

Doing? Sage-related still? A micro-brewery? What?

He's working in the Microsoft space.

Maybe he was hired to be the ad man for Polygamy Porter. Along with the Angels.

Alan Clark (as opposed to Aaron Clark) has taken over the Eide Bailley Sage practice. He's more Sage 500. I believe they still have a person who is strong in SI.

I got all of this back channel and am not sure what I'm allowed to really say.

I don't care about his past employer, who is his new employer. MSFT?

Well, this is the admin group with Vegas rules. Sounds like two of the six members know something.

Does this mean he is no longer a 90 Minds member??

Well, if he isn't an Eide Bailey employee, he will have to rejoin if he qualifies.

We don't normally remove folks until their employer updates on their accounts.

So when they get the renewal notice? Or if they want to transfer it to another employee?

Really, we have a set policy now? I know of several who were removed when we found out they left the firm. But it is Eric, so there is some leeway.

No Eric doesn't seem right.

Sorry - just got back from lunch. Eric Anderson is coming to work with me and he will be heading up our new company, QuantaCRM, which is focused on Microsoft CRM solutions. I think he would like to stay in 90 Minds if possible just for the social experience but he and I haven't hashed it out. He officially starts with QuantaCRM on Monday, April 6th, so we weren't ready to announce it just yet. Plus we don't have a website or anything else. Fire away with questions that you might have.

And, yes, Eric said that Eide Bailly has another consultant that is strong with SI and he was hoping that they could fill that role for 90 Minds going forward. It's really up to the group of course.

Is this a new, separate company from Azamba or are you calling it quits with Sage CRM???

Thanks Therese! It is a big departure for Eric but I think he is going to be a superstar for QuantaCRM and lead it to greatness.

New, separate company - additive to what we are doing with Sage CRM. Azamba is going to live and die with Sage CRM and only Sage CRM. QuantaCRM is going to be focused on Microsoft CRM using the same methodologies that we use at Azamba to help clients be successful with CRM.

Has he worked with Sage CRM or another CRM product much? Or are you hiring him for his charm, intelligence (not SI), wit, and ability to provide Polygamy Porter?

He doesn't have much experience with any CRM to start. He and I worked together on quite a few opportunities at Eide Bailly and I have a strong belief that he ""gets"" CRM very well. Combine that with his other interpersonal skills and job experience, I have faith that he will be able to manage a CRM team with great success.

That's what I meant about his wits, intelligence, etc. Again, congrats. I'm sure he'll do well.

Wow, @PeterWolf Sounds like a great opportunity for both parties.

@JeffSchwenk we don't have an actual policy. I just thought we had learned our lesson with the Blytheco brouhaha and agreed to not push the issue.
