  • 1.  Ending Inventory Qty per Period

    Customer is requesting a report that displays the ending Quantity of an item with a column for each period.
    Basically, the Item History Tab....but in a columnar report by period.
    Has anyone been asked for that before and now from what table I should start??? Nowhere can I find the beginning balance to get the ending one!!!!

    This report would have been a snap had Sage used the "BeginningBalQty" field on every period's record instead of just on period "01". Maybe there's a good reason they didn't, but not having that required use of local and global variables plus Previous and PreviousIsNull to calculate it. If anyone else needs a report like this, I've left the engine running.
