End user is currently live on v4.05 standard. They would like to upgrade to 5.2 standard. They don't use paperless office. Should I have any concerns with installing 5.2 on the same server as 4.05?

I wouldn't have concerns about application conflict. However I would be concerned about the server if they deployed it when they installed 4.05.

Agree with @ShawnSlavin. Is that 4.05 on a 2003 server, then 5.20 won't work on it anyway.

Thanks for the input. It is Server 2008 standard sp2. They just moved off of server NT 4.... just a tad behind the times... New client, new ownership ..... trying my best to help.

I don't think you will have any issues with it. I have done this several times. Perhaps now that they will be on v2015, you can show them the value of paperless and everything else they are missing. A bigger concern (as you know) is just migrating the data. You will have a lot of work ahead of you with forms and panels, etc. Plus showing them an entirely new way of operating.... Old habits will die hard.
