    End user has a VI job that crashed. When they go into Job Information they see ""running"" but the button to stop it is not there. Any ideas?

    Wayne, I think the user needs Supervisor rights in Role Maintenance 'Security Events"" VI to unlock the job.

    New Framework modules don't stop that way any more @WayneSchulz . When you open the VI Job in job maintenance it warns you that it's running and if you continue in it stops it automatically. The job information may just be showing running because it hung.

    I'm not sure that it asked him to stop it when he went back in.

    We've had the issue when we were executing a VI job from a batch file. One of the issues is that the pvxwin32.exe file was still running on the server. We had to kill that process. When we went into the job it notified us that it was running. Then we simply 'saved' the VI job to stop it from running. No changes were made other than saving it.

    Thanks everyone turns out that exiting and re-entering VI did the trick. I'm not sure if he was prompted to end the running job or if it automatically stopped.
