Sage 100

When setting up an employee password for viewing direct deposit stubs, you can email the password with the email button.  It sends:

Subject: Employee Check Stub Viewing Information
Body:  Your password for viewing your direct deposit stubs is 'xxxxxx'.

Can this be changed?  I don't see it in Electronic Delivery Message Maintenance.  Cannot find this in DFDM either.   Client says employees are confused by this, and it would be good to provide a little more information.

I haven't come across this.  What version are you working with?  Are you keying in the password or having the system automatically assign it?  It has been a while since I used it, but when I did, I remember the message said "Your password for viewing your direct deposit stubs is your social security number" for the ones that used the SSN.  And when we had the system auto generate passwords, I know the message included the actual password.

John,  Are you asking about changing the wording on the email template? That was my original thought but now with Mary Jo's response, I am having second thoughts.  My guess is that the template wording is buried somewhere in the program.

You can control the password via Paperless > Form Maint: Additional screen.  It doesn't appear you can control the e-mail that goes to the employees informing them of their password.  I thought maybe it was available in Electronic Delivery Message Maint, but it doesn't appear so.
