  • 1.  EDI Processor - Jitterbit

    Posted 03-27-2024 19:15

I have a client looked at True Commerce for EDI but is leaning toward   Jitterbit is the Integration Expert | Jitterbit  based on transactional costs.

I have never dealt with Jitterbit.

Does anyone in the group have experience with this processor?

    Comments, please.

    Bill Gaustad - SPS -  bgaustad@spscommerce.com

    Jeff Frannklin - True - jeffrey.franklin@truecommerce.com

Both might be good sources of information

Never heard of Jitterbit.  We recommend SPS Commerce (MAPADOC).

Jitterbit appears to use XML files to transfer data to/from.  Seems to be an "economic" way of trading.  Pricing is about 1/5 the cost of trading via TrueCommerce.  Ultimately, it is the customer's decision.  Whether or not they ultimately save money with their decision will be a future discussion.  Just means the owner can buy a new Maserati sooner than he planned.

@Jeff Schwenk I have a customer undergoing an upgrade at the moment and Jitterbit is on the menu. I think this company may have also acquire eRequester at some point? I'm not familiar with them either but I suspect I'm about to become familiar.

My client has been using them for six months.  I have not been involved in the project, but I have not heard any negatives.

I have a distributor using Jitterbit. They are exporting and using VI to bring in sales but for the most part it has been fine. Their support has been good!
