Looking for advice and anyone that speaks German.

My client passed along the following email.

"It has come to our attention that In January 2025 we are legally obliged to switch to e-rechnung (which means e-invoice) in Germany for both, incoming and outgoing invoices. It means that all invoices in B2B sector should have special format:

XML. Pdf format will no longer be acceptable."

The Link with more information:  (and those that speak German)

Its all in German, but when you use a google translator, it looks like a Sage100 website and product for Sage 100.

So does Sage have different version of Sage 100 for their global audiences?

Anyone familiar with Sage 100 e-Invoicing?

Who do you recommend with working with XML out of Sage, especially without specifics layouts.

    Thank you,

    Michael

I think Sage Connect is designed for e-invoicing. You should explore this as a potential solution.

Daniel is someone I worked with several years ago at a Sage 100 customer. He is fluent in both German and English and has a strong business and IT background. I am not sure what his current status is ( ie whether he is working with a competitive product - I think he works more with SAP ).

    It was a good thought.

So the new Sage portal, does not have anything with XML options. It was designed for end users to see open invoices and PDF version (assuming that they were printed with Sage paperless office. Of course, end users have to still call in with payment information, but I digress.
