    Does anyone have a client successfully using E biz Web services to import CC transactions on any version greater than 2016? They do not use E biz Manager just the web services. Our client is currently on that and tried v2019 Adv and can't get this to work. Gets error 65 messages. They can get check or deposit transactions which make sense those do not touch the vault. I found a KB article 101958 which just says to reinstall Sage Exchange. Well we know that is not available. We did try this and it does not work.

    The back story they tried test upgrading to Premium and worked with Sage (Brian Reddeman) on this same issue last year. I think that is where the KB article 101958 came from says Paya Desktop components are installed, uninstall Paya Desktop, and install Sage Exchange Desktop.
    That worked briefly. So recently they decided to ditch premium and go back to advanced and test v2019.2. They are getting the same error. I know nothing about web services and trying to help them in any way I can, but have run out of suggestions for them to try. It has been over a year they have been working on trying to move from v2016 Adv. Their website and credit card orders are a huge part of their business so it is a big deal to get test transactions to work before moving forward. To give you an idea of how large their database is I believe they have their main company code and one other but it is over 100 GB. They are working with Server 2016 if it matters. The customer has also been in control of this process I have been available as they feel the need to reach out to me.

    If web services should be replaced with another solution what are some options for me to throw at them? I appreciate greatly any responses in advanced

    eBiz WebServices don't get much love from Sage. Most of the customers who need that functionality I have recommended to change to our SDE product which is more configurable. https://wiki.mbabsi.com/doku.php/enhancements/sage100/modules/cs100e-sde
    More than likely it is an issue because it is running WebServices as a Service and it isn't able to access the Paya Desktop. If you run it as a Specific account and you log in on that server as that account and make sure that Paya Desktop is running under that account, see if you still get the error.

    Thanks @Todd Martin I will have them try that suggestion and then look at your solution. I agree Sage is not responding and really surprised they did last year. Just so everyone who looks at this post these guys posted on Sage City last night under EBWS after server upgrade from BrownStain.

    New info - Just FYI I am able to add a credit card to the Sage Exchange vault and I am also able to preauthorize a credit card via calls to EBWS. This tells me that communication to Sage Exchange is present and working. However, I can not create a sales order with the preauthorization data attached via the call to EBWS.

    So the error is when you pass it authorization information that has already been tokenized by Paya outside of Sage and when it is writing the CC info to Sage it errors with error 65?

    No issue if you pass it CC info that has not be Tokenized? is that what you are saying?

    I believe that is correct. I could clarify. I do know they have to pre-auth prior to Sage because they have so many web orders they would not be able to pre-auth once in Sage and keep up. I have been looking over the manual and the code. I am almost ready to ask them to see the code. I feel they are missing a step that changed from v2016 and v2019 tables or process. I have sent them the manual, but know sometimes they believe they have it right and won't review again.

    Just to add to the confusion, I am able to create a sales order with pre-auth info without any issue with the call to EBWS so long as the pre-auth is expired.

    So the client says they chased down a web services patch? from their post on Sage City. Though I see no one answering them? How is this possible? Where do we find these patches on the knowledge base? Very frustrated right now.

    So the client told me they found a Sage City post (odd it was from an old post 8 years ago from an old employee when they were upgrading to v4.5.2). So they searched their server and found the executable and decided they had nothing to lose and installed it eBWS Credit Card Information Not Being Saved in Sales Order  https://www.sagecity.com/support_communities/sage100_erp/f/sage-100-distribution-manufacturing-and-internet-modules/34206/ebws-credit-card-information-not-being-saved-in-sales-order using the hotfix WS4002_t.exe. The post says they were able to get it off the new customer portal back then. So I decided I am opening a case and see if I can't get someone to document this. They looked at the info and it said it was written by David Kries in 2012. So they had installed v2019.2 Advanced and with this patch, it is importing orders with CC info still in their testing.
