  • 1.  Duplicate Report Settings

    I think I remember seeing this as an issue quite a few versions ago, maybe Premium only.  But I have it happening now on a 2022.2 Advanced.  Working on an upgrade and every time I work on a customized version of a Standard report, the next time I click on the lookup, there is another copy of the report name I just worked on.  It now looks like this:

    I've been looking through some of the SY_ReportXXXX files but haven't found duplicates yet.  Any ideas?

    Check SY_Menu and SY_Task.

    They're not showing up on the MENU more than once - just the Report Setting shows more than once.

    I'm thinking it's somehow SY_ReportSetting (because it's the only place I see the report multiple times for the same Report Setting), but it's like it's showing me EVERYONE else's as well as mine.  The keys in the file include the workstation, but it's like it's showing me all of the workstations and not just mine.

    Hm.  I created a new user and when I clicked on the lookup for the new user, I just saw one line per report setting.  SOOOOOO I'm thinking it's a bug and I can't fix it.  I had the same rights as the test user, so I don't know why it doesn't like my first user, but as long as everyone else isn't seeing it, I'll let it ride a while...
