**Droning with Diane Webinar Series:** The Sage Portfolio. This is probably the only interesting chart so far.

Sage CRM = red headed stepchild. Wonder what these colors mean.

The Sage Slang Dictionary: Journey = We haven't even started / don't know how to get there / hope mentioning it will quiet your fears we are irrelevant

It must be for people who have been asleep for the past 6 months. Haven't we heard all of this before? Why do they invite us to same message so many times?

The important part of this slide is the word MOVE. They aren't talking about ""additional"", ""option"", ""flexible"" they are talking MOVE. This is an indication, in my view, that all customers are going to receive a one way ticket for the subscription bus within a certain period of time (my guess = 3 years).

Yikes, did I miss an important webinar? LMK if I should stop doing something productive to listen in to this session.

We bump them 15% - then they prepay for 3 years and save 8%. Such a deal. That is attractive... at least according to Sage. All lauded by partners. Not sure which partners. Maybe Acumatica partners....

Don't bother Jeff. It appears there were 20 ""enhancements Donnie demo'ed. All of the new features were minor such as increased PO field, 1 hover display info in BI, a new way to change the same info in user maintenance, increased check number field in SO. I wonder how many programming hours it should take to implement these new features. Seriously I am ball parking very conservatively 200-300 hours. I don't know what a programmer makes at Sage but even they made $200 per hour it would be $40K -$60K of work. How much was Sage's Sage 100 maintenance revenue last year?

    Posted 11-19-2015 11:32
Sage stated number of users of Sage 100 = 20,000 x $2,500 avg maint (guess) = $ 50 million revenues

We are now in the brainwashing session where Wingrove advises us on how much better we will be if we move our customers to 100c.

Notice that they're talking about MOVING to subscription not Adding or Offering -- this is staging for moving EVERYONE eventually.

My question with no response yet: So are you guaranteeing that the 30% will never be cut?

Does Sage have a supply of ""happy drugs"" they give to people like Diane when she does presentations?

So far I've not heard anything new here. There have always been add-on / bolt-on and co-marketing. Which is essentially what they're talking about.

Here's your answer @PhilMcIntosh The 30% has been standardized across all Tier levels for subscription. We did this to maintain competitive margins aginst other providers. We will evaluate this once in awhile to ensure we remain competitive.

TL;DR: Sage went through the existing portfolio and gave a slightly updated look at what they consider to be their ""go to"" offerings (scroll up for the relevant slide). They reference a MOVE to subscription which appears to clearly show that at some point ALL existing customers will get an invitation to the subscription party. More spreadsheet mania about how the ""c line"" will make partners rich and famous.
