Don't know how long this will last but the founders of Pirate Bay are offering a site to directly share a file (sort of like yousendit but with some of the bells and whistles). The difference: Free :-) Can be anonymous Up to 5 gigs PER file. That's big enough for most HD movies. They claim they will respect DMCA take down notices....cough cough. That being said, since there is no search, like yousendit it , it will probably be used mostly privately between friends so the DMCA isn't likely to mind so much since the volume will be so low and they have no way of knowing whats there unless somebody sends a link to the file to the dmca...

I take it back. they have download timers and stuff that can make it a little bit annoying but for occasional use, its good. For relatively low annual fee you can remove that, but like Hightower, who knows how long they will be around

Did you see Microsoft was blocking some PB links when sent via MSN IM? I am not sure if it's these types of links but it makes you stop and think.
