Domo wants to take the world over. It's funny though - I've reached out to them on three separate occasions and never got a call back. I don't think that's how Salesforce grew. What are other people's experiences with Domo? Good, bad, indifferent? http://finance.yahoo.com/news/ceo-2-billion-startup-domo-163400116.html

I talked to them at Summit last year. Their target customers are pretty large.

After making initial contact post-summit, they didn't respond to the two separate times that I reached out, and I always email and voice mail. In 2014, the rep told me that they didn't have a reseller program in place yet but were working on it.

My experiences are similar to yours Karen. Slow / no response. Not reseller friendly (imho).

I got a nice set of headphones for sitting in on a demo in New Orleans. At the end of the demo they mentioned the bare minimum startup is $30K-$40K and could be much much more. Seems like a great product, but not in the budget for most of my clients..... Also, you don;t have to be intelligent to work hard, answer the phone, return emails promptly, and provide good service. Those should be the minimum requirements before I even consider the product features. If they can't return a call or an email now, it is an indicator of what will happen after they cash your check.

This lady beats them up a lot. I didn't care for their marketing tactics and felt their product was sub-par. http://www.jenunderwood.com/ http://www.jenunderwood.com/2014/06/23/investigating-secretive-domo/ http://www.businessinsider.com/domo-ceo-josh-james-interview-2016-3

Thanks Lou - that is interesting. I think Domo is in for a rude awakening long-term. How can you rule the world when you don't have the fundamentals correct?

I'd like to readdress the product, not because I think I like it (and I've never really trusted the company anyway) but because I'd like to know what ideas they have and see if I can replicate it. The blog links I posted have given me a lot of insight but I still need to do something with it. Even Sage Intelligence has the ability to bring a lot of disparate data into a single report, but it relies too heavily on ODBC. Nevertheless, there is still some good potential there.
