    A Sage customer just emailed me this - asking if I knew why Sage mailed their company president a plastic robot with no accompanying letter? Have you received any similar inquiries from your customers?

    I had two clients mention getting the robot back in May.  If I remember correctly, they got letters with theirs that directed them to a link but I'm afraid I don't remember what they were promoting.  In both cases they commented what a waste of money it was and how it looked like more money was spent on the packaging than on the robot itself.

    Here is a blurry video that my client sent to me when she received the package in the mail in May 2019.  She thought the package was for me, because SAGE mistakenly put my name on it, but sent it to my client's address.  Client thought it was a silly thing to receive.

    This is a  badly executed variant on a marketing concept from 20 years ago. When done right, it is very effective at getting an appointment. 

    Sage needs to get their marketing people out of a different middle school.
