Doing a 100 Advanced upgrade from 4.5 to 2013 for a client that has the Automated Rental Management (ARM) enhancement from BCS Prosoft. When testing we had an issue with being continually prompted to convert the company data. Conversion would run fine and then we would be prompted again - an endless loop. We used DFDM to manually change the module data levels to 5.0 in these three files to fix the issue: MAS_SYSTEM\SY_Module.M4T MAS_SYSTEM\SY_EnhancementModule.M4T MAS_XXX\CIXXX\CI_EnhancementActivation.M4T (XXX is the company code) When doing the final data migration and conversion this weekend I am having the same issue and changing the module data level in the above files isn't fixing it. ARM is the only module affected by this, the remaining modules all show 5.0. Any suggestions? Other files I should check for conversion level? Thanks!

You could try rebuilding the ARM files in 4.5, and then try re-converting. I did a somewhat-recent upgrade (to 4.5) that included ARM, and the data conversion just went on and on and on - and after 20hr we had to kill it. Then we rebuilt the ARM files which in itself took several hours, but then we were able to successfully convert the data - which still took upwards of 7hr. Otherwise you may need to table it until Monday when you can speak with BCS, rather than possibly spinning your wheels.

@BrettZimmerman thanks for the tip! I ended up re-installing the ARM software and that took care of the problem. Now on to the rest of the weekend.

Bernie not that it matters now but should it happen again there are 2 other files to DFDM in that list , the latter of which can cause the conversion prompts Sy_Enhancement Sy_ClassEnhancement

@AlnoorCassim - I am having issues with this again and was looking at the Sy_ClassEnhancement file as you suggested. I don't see any information in there about the data conversion level. There are only 8 fields - Class module code, class developer code, enhancement code, standard class, modified class, sequence, module code and developer code. Any idea what in there would cause the constant data conversion prompt loop?

[Edit of last response] I see now Sy_Enhancement has the EnhancementLevel.
