Does this make sense combining ACT! with Peachtree? I thought ACT! was supposed to feed SageCRM which was supposed to feed Saleslogix. And how does this ""Center of Excellence"" sales team differ from other Sage sales teams. Ahh, and now we have to calculate the ARPAC. Would you sell Peachtree to the same people you would sell ACT and vice versa? Can someone enlighten me? FROM Larry Ritter: I wanted to share the North America Sage ACT! Sales structure going forward. As you are aware, Jim Mullery has left Sage to pursue other interests. I am happy to announce that today we are creating a US Sales ""Center of Excellence"" team focusing on Sage ACT! and Sage Peachtree. The team will be led by Manny Sandhu based in Atlanta. Some of you may already know her as she currently leads the Peachtree sales team. In her new role she will lead both the Sage ACT! and Sage Peachtree sales teams as one combined functional organization. We are uniting Sage ACT! and Sage Peachtree in this common organization to achieve a number of important benefits: Growing the overall Sage ACT! Business Increasing our SMB ARPAC (average revenue per active customer) Growing the active customer base through increased Business Care plan adoption Attaining new customers through effective sales efforts (net new and cross sell)

I think they were both on the same level just managed by separate people. I found this from Paul Johnson which I think was the last organizational change for Act! http://goo.gl/ffs6S And remember for a period of time Sage had Act! on the ""Value"" products after it moved out from CRM. They truly don't seem to know what to do with ACT!

Was this just sent out? I am looking at Jim Mullery's LinkedIn and if I had to take a guess I'd say he has not been with Sage since December 2011 (judging by the number of recommendations that he suddenly accumulated - some of who talk about Jim as if he was no longer at Sage)
