Does (the new) MAS 200 SQL eliminate the file locking restrictions / safeguards inherent in the providex version?

Do have a specific scenario? I think most of the same logic will occur. I have a test environment that I can test on.

@JohnnyPabian - a situation like having someone in inventory maintenance when trying to update an inventory-related transaction is what the client would like to be able to do.

okay I am testing - that pesky IM_DataEntryCostCalcCommit file is giving me issues - error 12 - moving on.

well I went through a conversion to 4.5.2 and it completely hosed the data for that company. My fault probably - I killed the conversion because it was looking for credit card data and it was taking forever. When I killed it completely hosed my data in that company. Seems odd! This is a huge dataset 10 gigs. I will reconvert from providex soon and try again. I am interested too in the locking. My bet it will be the same if I am in an inventory item it will pause until I exit.
