Sage KB 103205 is the updated Sage PDF Converter for versions 2019 - 2021, hotfixes LM6018T, LM6019T, LM7000T respectively. It updates the version of Amyuni to 6.0.4.1 from 6.0.1.1. It's described as
Paperless Office printing prompts manually for PDF location after Windows updates installed. But recently I installed on 2019.5 for the purpose of addressing sporadic issue of no response when printing to Paperless and "Printed Not Activated Error -30 " messages. So far so good.
I installed it on 5 different Remote Desktop (Terminal) Servers and the Sage server (running Premium 2019.5), all running in a hosted Azure cloud. The remote PCs click their Sage icon which is setup as a RemoteApp to connect thru the RDS to run their Azure WVDs (Windows Virtual Desktops). They have a policy to prevent redirected printers. They use using Printix for cloud printing.
Much of it is unsupported obviously but was there before I arrived. While helping IT with all their Paperless woes, (to add complexity) they decided themselves to try Windows 365 Enterprise Cloud PC for a few Sage users as an experiment. So they login to Sage via the Cloud PC. I didn't access myself to install the hotfix so I gave them the instructions. They asked me this question which is not specific to Cloud PC:
** After starting Sage as admin then PL_AdvancedOptions_UI then clicking Uninstall PDF Converter and then Install PDF Converter, the registry entries for Paperless under HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software are no longer there - is this by design? I think the answer is Yes since that's the famous portion of the registry that was constantly overwritten by Windows Updates and may have been part of the security concern.
@Kevin Moyes do you know?
