Does anyone use Square to take credit card payments? I am a very infrequent user of CC payments as almost all my customers are recurring however for those coming in on the web I want a way to offer CC payments and while Square looks like it's about 3.75% there does not seem to be any monthly recurring fee (important since I'm a sporadic user). Anyone experimented with Square for infrequent payments (maybe $500 - $660/mo) ?

I'm interested in Square also, but for my side ""Flea Market Business"". That is, if I ever stop traveling. I would be interested in your feedback if you go that direction.

I should be receiving my Square hardware this week. I've setup the app on my website though I'm unsure if I will keep the calendar appointment capability ($30/mo). I find the majority of web inquiries are people looking to pay in 15-minute increments at your 2002 ""best client"" hourly rate for questions that they can't get you to answer for free on the phone. These people are usually either: 1. Dropped maintenance 2. Migrating to another product and only need ""Temporary"" help 3. Comparing rates 4. New employees who have no authority to buy anything So there is typically (though not always) very little repeat business
