Does anyone know WTH with Sage Intelligence re this situation, which I have seen several times now - Install a Designer Add-In (I know, old verbiage) report on a client machine and all of the formula fields say #NAME BUT if you click on the Fx button to see the formula details and then just OK back out, the formula works as it should, AND if you resave the report it continues to work. Is there a way to get all formulas to recalc without having to Fx each one? Is there something completely different I could be doing to fix this? (PS - See you all tomorrow!)

Does the F9 recalc button work? If so, then automatic calculation is likely turned off. Go to File, Options, Formulas and you'll see it there as the first item on the list. EDIT: In Excel, of course! :-)

LOL - @HaroldWestover - the last section in that doc was exactly what I have been doing! UGH. HOWEVER, @LouWagner - I did forget about checking to see if auto calculate is off, so I need to look at that.

It's so overly simplistic, I didn't even want to post it. That said, there is a setting in the Report Manager that will turn recalc on and off until after the spreadsheet is created. If the Excel recalc settings don't solve the problem, let me know and I'll find the option in SI that manages recalcs.

I've also seen #Name show up when an Excel Expression in the Connector has an error.
