Does anyone know where the Open Sales Order Amount on the BI Dashboard comes from? I have a customer who has way more in open orders than what appears on their dashboard and they want to know how this is calculated. It's not just orders entered this period (and yes, SO is in the current period). I can't figure it out. Anyone?

I thought there was a field in AR_customer that held the data. Also there is a utility to recalculate that number. But I don't recall where it is located. Maybe Sales Order period end or AR utilities

A couple of version back, I pointed out to the tech team that one of the dashboards was totally wrong. They could never figure it out and like too many things, I just let it drop.

Accounts Receivable - Utilities - Recalculate Open Order Amounts or rebuild AR sorts and select the Recalculate Open Order Amount in Customer check box at the options window.

I ran a Crystal report on the AR_Customer.OpenOrderAmt and that is exactly where that number comes from. The recalc is on the AR Utilities menu. It takes like a nanosecond to run and does indeed correct it. Learn something new everyday. Can I go home now?

Anyone know when the utility was added to the AR menu? I'm making an Evernote on this

It must be 4.5 because it is not on it at 4.4.
