Does anyone know what specific rights a user needs on a terminal/citrix server in order for the PDF converter to work? Getting the Unable to Process Lockfile message for most users but admins are able to print just fine. Sage says ""Increase users' permissions to resolve this issue. Test by granting the user Local Administrator rights on the Citrix server - the issue likely lies with the permission setting for a Windows registry key associated with the ""Sage PDF Converter"". The IT guy doesn't want a bunch of local admins screwing up his server so I'm looking for suggestions on what permissions need to be granted so users can print to paperless office. Thanks

Bernie, make sure printing redirection is disabled for the Sage PDF printer and also that the port on the terminal/citrix server for the Sage PDF printer is set to Sage instead of null or LPT1:

You can avoid it having it write to the registry to begin by turning off the Use Lockfile option under File / Run / PL_AdvancedOptions_UI (note the setting is company specific). I do this on every single installation and for every company code. The whole reason why Lockfile is enabled to begin with is in case you have more than 1 Amyuni application running on your workstation (or in this case your Terminal / Citrix server).

Thanks Alnoor. That is a great tip. I will have to add that to my knowledgebase.

Bernie - you will also want to make sure that you remove the Jobs and Locks folders from the Windows Registry along with disabling the Lockfile option otherwise the old problems may continue to occur. It gets them back a clean starting point.

Thanks for the information Brian, Alnoor and Amber, the tip from Alnoor is awesome (fixed the problem!) and I will also add it to our internal KB.
